MPOWER stores and process personal data in

MPOWER process personal data for the following purpose(s)*:

Recipient(s) of the personal data:

We use Google Fonts for display of webfonts and aim to host all of these on our webserver to minimise information sent to this service. Your IP address may be sent to this service in order to render fonts for this webpage.

MPOWER, as a partner in Irish and European research projects, such as but not limited to +CityxChange and sECUre, may share personal data gathered in those projects with project partners contained within that project. This will be decided on a project level and be subject to project-specific and task-specific data processing agreements.

 

Details of transfers to third country/countries:

We currently do not transfer personal data gathered outside of the EU.

 

Data Retention period:

Where we hold your data due to contractual obligations we will hold your data until completion plus 2 years.

Where we hold your data by consent we will keep it for 1 year. Once this time period has expired we will seek your consent again or securely delete your data.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Legal Action:

Where necessary we will process personal data provided to us for the purposes of seeking legal advice or other legal purposes. Examples of such processing would include providing information to debt collection agencies in the event of persistent non-payment for products or services by an individual or Sole Trader.

Also, where we receive a formal request under Article 23 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we may be required to disclose personal data to An Garda Síochána, the Revenue Commissioners, or other relevant organisation.

System Logs, Maintenance, and Investigation of Data Security Breaches:

We process certain data, including IP addresses, as part of our internal system logging on this website to support the diagnosis of issues and maintenance of the website. 

In addition, we will make use of detailed system logs on our webhosting platform and within our Content Management System to support investigations of Data Security breaches.
